Well, I was a few days late in posting August's photo, because I kept trying to edit the picture thinking it was upside down! When it comes to bunnies, we all know Brenda is the low man on the totem pole. She may talk tough, but, without a doubt, she's wrapped firmly around their furry little paws! ; )
Like July, August's photo features rabbits from the June confiscation, a bonded trio named Keira, Roslyn, and Julia. It was submitted by Brenda H, MCRS Volunteer Coordinator and lead volunteer at the Roseville PETCO, and taken by Karen N, MCRS PETCO Fostering Coordinator.
The photo was taken during the girls' first exercise outing after coming to MCRS. Brenda explained that the girls were having a great time and, "They kept running from one end of the couch to the other. I was in the middle and got bounced on a lot! Plus I was the safety magnet if they heard a bad noise." At one point, the three of them jumped up on her and sat still long enough for Karen to get the camera and snap the picture.
Brenda said that the girls finally got brave enough to make it to the ground and explored all around. She said, "It was a riot. They were really good. The girls are so sweet."
