GiveMN Online Fundraising for Hop to the Rescue: A Walk to Benefit MCRS

If you are participating in the 2011 Hop to the Rescue fundraiser, you can make collecting pledges even easier by setting up your own personalized online fundraising page with www.giveMN.org!

You can make your own personalized page by visiting www.giveMN.org, and using their easy process to upload your information. On the front page of the site, you'll find a green "Fundraise>" choice that says "Start raising money for worthwhile causes". Click on that box, and giveMN will guide you through setting up your own page. Your friends can then make online donations using their credit cards, and MCRS receives 100% of their donation!

Before you start building your page, you'll want to think of a title for your page, a brief description of why you support MCRS, and your personal fundraising goal. You can also add photos or videos of your rabbits! Once your page is completed, you can email the link to your contacts, or share your page on social networking sites. Friends can also find your page by visiting www.giveMN.org and entering your name in the website's search box. (You can make it easy for them to remember by printing paper handouts with the web address and your name!) To see an example of a completed page, visit Leah's Hop to the Rescue page on giveMN.

MCRS aims to raise $10,000 at this year’s Hop to the Rescue walk, and your support will help us reach that goal!

NOTE: For volunteers who used giveMN last year, you will want to set up a new 2011 page, and then DELETE your 2010 page so that your donors don't get confused. (You can delete your old page by logging into your profile, and finding the "X" in the top right corner of your old fundraiser.)
