Information on Animal "Collectors"/"Hoarders"

Unfortunately, the growing opinion is that individuals that do this have a mental illness. They often represent themselves as "rescuers" - taking in animals that others don't want anymore from individuals that don't want their pet to go to a shelter. This is one of the reasons we encourage individuals to take their rabbit to a shelter rather than try to find a home on their own.
