Everyday Educating Education is one of the main missions of MCRS. It is one of the very best ways we can reduce the number of unwanted rabbits and improve the lives of companion rabbits. Ingrid Harding, MCRS Director of Education, shares several simple, small, easy actions which can make a big, positive difference. |
How You Can Help
As an all-volunteer non-profit organization, the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society's work is supported in it's entirety by memberships, donations, and the volunteer efforts of rabbit lovers and advocates like you.
If you aren't a member already, please consider becoming a member of MCRS. Your membership fees go directly towards helping local rabbits by paying for healthcare, foster expenses, and public education. Membership starts at only $10 per year and provides you with:
- Newsletters
- Invitations to members-only events
- Discounts on rabbit supplies (hay, pellets, and litter) from MCRS
- Access to our upcoming members-only portion of this site
Becoming a member is easy. Just download and complete our Membership & Donation form.
Donations are always welcome. If you would like to donate supplies, please see our wish list for items currently needed. Do you shop online? Donate while you shop, and help local rabbits without incurring any out-of-pocket expense. Do you have old printer cartridges or cell phones lying around? Turn them into "Money for Bunnies"
You may also help by becoming a volunteer. Many opportunities exist to fit every schedule and interest. Time spent volunteering is just as important to the success of MCRS as donations.
Thanks for your interest and desire to help rabbits. Without people like you, there would be no MCRS!
