Join us for fun, exercise, and social time all to benefit the bunnies!
When: September 10, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Central Park Victoria West, Roseville, MN
The Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society is hosting its third annual walk-a-thon fundraiser. Volunteers will walk for donations collected in advance from sponsors. All donations will be used to promote MCRS' missions to help homeless rabbits find permanent homes and to educate the public about caring for pet rabbits. The walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers who raise at least $50 in donations will receive a t-shirt, and there will be prizes for the walkers raising the most donations. We will also have a prize this year for the top fundraiser under 18. There will be a free Hoppy Hour during the walk for walkers who wish to participate but also want to bring their bunnies for Bunfest.
There are two ways that you can collect donations. You can download a paper form and collect sponsor information on the form. If you use a paper form, please collect all donations in advance and bring them to the walk-a-thon. Checks should be made payable to the Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society. You can also set up a donation page at giveMN.com. GiveMN is a website that allows you to set up a donation page for a non-profit event. You can send the link for your page to friends and family and they can make donations through a credit card payment that will be credited to MCRS' account. Check out our giveMN guide to get started.

Bunfest 2011
When: September 10, 10 am - 3:00 p.m., immediately following the walk-a-thon
Where: Central Park Victoria West, Roseville, MN
You and your bunny are welcome to join us for MCRS' second annual Bunfest. Activities will include:
- Demonstrations by MCRS' agility bunnies
- Rabbit Massage (fee)
- Bunny Proofing 101
- NIC Condo Building Demos
- Bun Glamour Shots (fee)
- Bunny grooming and nail trimming at the BunSpa (fee)
- Social time with other bunnies and their owners
- Rabbit merchandise, toys, and treats available for purchase
- Information regarding health, care, behavior, etc.
- Toy Building and Games for the kids
- Free Hoppy Hour
- And much more!
